Phil Thompson has been a leader in the health care profession for over twenty five years. He brings his expertise in nonprofit and safety net healthcare to his work with Eremos Consulting Group to expand the services offered to nonprofits and the healthcare industry. Hands-on experience includes personnel administration, budgeting, financial analysis, strategic planning, information systems, legal compliance, federal grant administration, and accreditation readiness.

Currently serving as the Executive Director of the National Network for Oral Health Access (www.nnoha.org), Phil resources their efforts to provide technical assistance, leadership training and advocacy for over 1700 member oral health safety clinics across the country who are providing oral health to underserved populations. Previously employed by the University of Colorado - Denver as the chief financial officer of their safety net clinic in Sheridan, Colorado, Phil has also served in management leadership at University of Colorado Hospital where he managed multiple outpatient specialty clinics and at Children’s Hospital Colorado where he was business manager for the Department of Psychiatry. Prior to moving to Colorado in 2000 Phil was the operations vice president for a state wide home health management company and earlier a department head in the largest hospital system in Alabama. He was active in two state-wide professional associations advocating for the low income populations served by home health agencies.

Phil has served for ten years as a volunteer board member and president for Senior Homes of Colorado, a provider of independent housing for low income elderly. In 2011 Phil co-led a well received seminar for the Colorado NonProfit Association on using the lessons of modern science to maintain management balance in a turbulent non-profit world.

Phil has graduate degrees in history from Baylor University (Waco, Texas) and in health care administration from Trinity University (San Antonio, Texas).
