Dear Elizabeth,

  • Are you needing a day to relax, rejuvenate and love being out in nature?
  • Are you looking for time to reflect and have fun at the same time?
  • Would you enjoy a day of self-care and spiritual renewal?
If you said yes to any of these, come and spend the day with other clergy and let the healing power of horses help you on your journey as we slow down, reflect and have fun!

Why Horses?
Horses have the unique ability to be present and honest in responding to situations and energy around them.  Joining with a horse touches your heart. Their gentle and curious nature guides you to access greater awareness, and renew your spirit.

This is a non-riding workshop and no horse experience is needed. We will engage with the horses safely on the ground. We'll also have time for reflection and prayer throughout the day.

Join Jackie and Elizabeth for a mini-sabbatical designed to refresh and renew your spirit ... and even have a little time for play.
Meeting and interacting with horses, silence, meditation, walking the grounds, laughter, painting, sharing, eating and journaling will create a full but spacious sabbatical day for ministers serving in a variety of settings.

RSVP soon to reserve your spot! Space is limited to just 6 participants.

Thank you for your attention and response.  Jackie and I look forward to seeing you and joining with you on this day of renewal.

Sincerely,

AAPC West Region 2016 Fall Conference

two community crises: two pastoral care responses

We have a unique opportunity this year to bring together people from across the newly formed AAPC West Region (made from the merger of former Rocky Mt. Plains and SouthWest Regions of AAPC).

We are coming together in a new way by presenting a simultaneous conference with one keynote speaker in Denver and one in Dallas.  Their two presentations will be streamed live to both locations so that attendees in both locations will have face-to-face access as well as virtual access to the speakers and colleagues.  This is an opportunity for members, friends, and colleagues from across disciplines and across the region to come together and connect. Meals and CEUs are included!
